Turkey Burgers These quick & easy burgers are a real treat - flavorful, moist, and most importantly, never dry. For Turkey Balls simply divide mixture into balls and place in muffin tins greased with olive oil. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
1 pound ground turkey Simply mix all the above ingredients in a bowl. Bread crumbs are optional because, yes - they help bind everything, but I have found that they bind together just fine. You may need to add black pepper, but no salt since there is plenty of sodium in the onion soup mix. Form into patties, place on a plate, cover with wrap and let chill for 30 minutes. Grill as you would your regular burgers only keep an eye on them; turkey cooks much, much faster than beef. 10 to 12 minutes on a hot grill should be adequate.
Stovetop / Oven Preparation: Preheat oven to 400. Heat a nonstick frypan over medium high heat. Brush with a bit of olive oil. Brown the burgers on one side 5 minutes. Flip burgers and transfer to hot oven. Bake 10 minutes or until puffed in the middle and centers are cooked through.
